EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES
Hands-on homestead skill development.
At Pepper Tree Homestead, we open our doors to a few homeschool families each school year. Together, we engage in hands-on learning to develop and hone self-sufficiency and homesteading skills in our youth. Skill development includes animal husbandry and animal science; planting, growing, harvesting, cooking/preparing and preserving food; permaculture practices to support healthy ecosystems; and so much more!

HOW TO JOIN US
If you would like to join us for a supplemental homesteading education experience, please get in touch by clicking the button below. We accept a very limited number of students/families each school year, as our property is small, we want to keep our animals safe, and we love to keep the group size intimate for community building and educational delves as directed by the children. Our educational experience is a supplemental extracurricular program, and is not a comprehensive or accredited education program.

If you have questions about our homesteading education experience program, or if you would like to join the waitlist, please feel welcome to get in touch.
WE CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU!
Our homestead supports a mini-ecosystem of plants, trees, chickens, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, a pig and a livestock guardian dog. On the horizon, we hope to further expand our garden and add a few more animals (goats and possibly a milking cow), along with a beehive. Your homeschool families help our homestead grow as we all learn and work together to support this flourishing permaculture system!
